To be honest, I’m not really allowed to say, because we haven’t announced our product yet…

Having said that, we have presented in the Flash memory summit last week some performance results that indicate that we have been writing software for storage memory technologies for quite some time now.

Storage memory, Storage-class memory (SCM), Next-generation NVM, and Persistent Memory (PM) are different names for emerging hardware technologies, such as STT-MRAM, RRAM, and of course the latest 3D XPoint from Intel and Micron. These hardware devices, together with new software architectures, will revolutionize computer architecture as we know it. More importantly, they will set new boundaries on what’s possible and what’s affordable.
